Behold: Home Educators Retreat

8th–10th December | A few days of Rest, Revelation, and Renewal

Step away from the busyness of everyday life and join us for Behold: a retreat crafted especially for home-educating families. Over three grace-filled days, we’ll gather to pray, learn, laugh, and simply be — together, in the heart of community.

Whether you’re new to home education or many years in, this weekend is your invitation to pause, be nourished, and reconnect with the deeper ‘why’ behind your calling.

What to Expect:

Mornings rooted in prayer:
Optional Morning Prayer of the Church begins our day in peace and presence.

Thoughtful Inputs & Small Groups:
Each day brings meaningful reflections — from Revelation to Fiat to Incarnation — followed by small group discussions streamed by age for more personal sharing and reflection.

Shared Worship & Preparation for Mass:
With opportunities for singing practice, morning prayer in groups, and masses celebrated together, we draw closer to Christ through liturgy and sacrament.

Afternoons for rest and creativity:
After lunch, enjoy time to walk, craft, relax or core lessons that might need to be done. Families can recharge at their own pace, before coming back together for evening events.

Evenings of fun and fellowship:
From light-hearted games like Family Fortunes to moments of deep reflection in Adoration, each evening is thoughtfully planned to develop your home-schooling support network and deepen faith.

Accommodation for the whole family

With en-suite dormitory accommodation sleeping up to 6 people per room, there is no need to worry if there is enough bed-space for everyone.

Meals lovingly prepared and shared together

Taking a break from everyday life means that the cooking is also taken care of courtesy of our catering team. Allergies or special dietary requirements? No problem, we have that covered too!

Highlights Include:

  • Inputs from gifted speakers (including Bishop Patrick McKinney)
  • Mass celebrated with and for families
  • Beautiful liturgies and shared prayer times
  • Age-appropriate small groups for both adults and children
  • Family-friendly activities and free time for reconnection
