A big shoot out to my small group ‘the Crazy Cool Kids’ you were amazing. Even though we didn’t save Hughie the crisp we built an amazing castle defence and worked so well as a team. You had some fantastic ideas for the gospel presentation and you did really well.

It was great leading the walk on the Saturday. It was great getting to know you (and I’m not 37, I’m 18)

By the end of the week it was really hard to tell each school apart, you had grown so close as a group and the team were really proud of you because of it.

All the best, Matt

Firstly can I just say how proud I am of you all as you all mixed together really well and I could not tell who went to which school which was lovely. Well done everyone on trying to save your crisps, our crisp Maud may not have survived but she knew we tried our best.

I really enjoyed the several days you spent with us, especially your enthusiasm and energy. Despite both schools being thrown together you got on really well, and by the end of the retreat I couldn’t tell one school from another. I enjoyed my small group, and by the end you were working really well together and doing everything I asked of you.

I hope everyone who had the chance enjoyed playing Frisbee with me and Dave, because we had so much fun. We hope everyone enjoyed the walk, you did really well considering how hot it was and I hope you all enjoyed the stories we told.

I hope your time at the Briars gives you a great start to Year 6 and brings your year group closer together. Hope to see you again soon

Don

Hello all!

A big hello to my small group, it was great meeting you! Well done on saving Ethel the crisp!

It was lovely to see how well the two schools mixed together, and by the end it was hard to see who was from which school! The walk in the sunshine was lovely, and it gave me a chance to get know you all a bit better.

Quick cricket was a lot of fun on Sunday, and both groups played very well, I was very impressed with the high standards of batting and fielding! Hope to see some of you playing for England soon!

Nice meeting you all,

Steph

Hello all.

I hope you all had a great time! A big thank you to my group ‘Joe’s sis ‘n’ bros’, you were all amazing. So sorry we couldn’t save our crisp from the Crich crisp killer, but at least we worked as a team.

Playing continuous cricket on our last day also was just pure fun! Some of you could seriously put the English cricket team to shame.

Doing all those activities as well was straight joke! Picking up the cardboard with your mouths was something I will probably never see again! Such a shame.

Anyways guys, thanks for the laughs.

Peace

Joe
