We were out again today straight into sunny Nottingham. We were at Our Lady’s and St. Edward’s thinking again about the theme of lent and the journey that we are taking through it. We started with a very lively whole school liturgy which got us singing and dancing and really thinking about what we were doing for the day. We then went off with year 6 and thought about where we start and so had our own personal cinema and bag packing session.
After a good break, we split into small groups and did some finger painting, promise making and boat building, messy, fiddly but fun. After a great lunch we then started preparing the liturgy for the whole school, with one group taking the prayers, another a dance and another a role play. We ended by showing all our work and dancing and singing again. A great day, time to head back home.
