A walk to remember…
Who would have thought that as soon as you got to the Briars you would be sent away again on a walk? Well, we decided to wake ourselves up and start the day afresh with a brisk stroll in the countryside. When everyone returned refreshed we shared in a beautiful Reconciliation Service led by Father Mike who is staying with us for a few weeks here at the Briars. In the afternoon we looked at Mary Poppins and her two adorable children Jane and Michael, and how they thought they had written the perfect job description for a Nanny. We thought about a job description for Jesus, and what he would be like. We then joined the other group who was resident at the Briars for the weekend in a singing practice before mass, and then celebrated one of the biggest masses we’ve had this year in the dining room, where we ended a fabulous day together. Hope you will all come again soon, as it was so nice to spend some time with you!
