A fabulous day spent thinking all about the Trinity…
We began the day thinking about our own personal idea of God, everyone drew a picture of how they saw God and we discussed the various images. After that we looked at the second part of the Trinity – Jesus. We watched a clip from Mary Poppins and set about making 4 cardboard Jesus, one with especially sparkly eyes!
A quick lunch later and then we settled into our final piece of the Trinity puzzle – the Holy Spirit. We did this by having a quiz and answering some bible-based questions. After that we had a look at their mass of commitment. We picked some hymns, had a singsong and soon enough it was time to go!
