In collaboration with CTU (Our Lady of Lourdes’ Youth Group) and God’s Gift music ministry, Reach 4 outreach ministry would like to invite young people from Derby parishes to be part of a production of Born for This; a dramatic presentation of the Stations of the Cross. It is part of a project led by the Diocesan Youth Service called ‘Live it …’ which involves inviting young people to come together in several locations around the diocese to reflect on and celebrate their faith and place in the Church. The evening scheduled for the Derby area will take the form of a production of Born for This, led by the young people of the parishes, in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mickleover.
If you are a young person of secondary school age in a Derby parish and would like to be part of a production of Born for This, then read on. You don’t need to be an amazing singer and won’t be asked to act or learn lines but just to sing with the chorus and be part of a spectacular evening. We meet for the first rehearsal on Sunday 31st January 4 – 7 in the parish hall at Our Lady of Lourdes, Mickleover. To be part of it, download a form for your parents to complete and bring you, your voice and the form along on the 31st.
