That was the best week I’ve ever had at the Briars, and I’m not just saying that because I can. Each member of the team was amazing, and helped to make it such a fantastic experience! Whether we were jumping up and down rooting for pieces of coloured paper whilst fighting against the fans (electrical ones, evidently ); going on walks miles long to be told ‘true’ stories of rom and juliet turning into trees and us having to hug them to bring them back to life; preparing speeches and prayers to perform and share with one another; stuffing ourselves with goods from the tuck shop or reading special letters from each of our team members (and making us cry!!)- the week was immense.
I think the amount of tears and gutted faces there were as we left on the coach were enough to express how sad we were at having to leave was just the start of the true reflection to how much we all enjoyed it.
We couldn’t have done it without each and every person there though, so thanks to everyone that went for making it so insanely special.
Thank you team, you’re all fantastic selfless people, and should never forget to appreciate and give thanks for how great each and every one of you are
