Diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes
We are now taking applications for young people 16 – 18 (years 11 – 13) who are not in a Catholic school but want to go on our Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes. This is a great opportunity to celebrate our faith and serve members of our diocesan family on pilgrimage.

The Briars 40th Anniversary Reunion
October the 9-12th saw the biggest ever reunion of past and present Briars team members. In part of a series of events to mark the 40th Anniversary of The Briars over 150 people dropped in at some point to make this weekend a truly memorable celebration.
The Relics of St Therese
As part of the visit of St Therese’s relics to our cathedral in Nottingham, the Youth Service led an All Night Vigil. Starting at 11.00 on Monday 5th October and finishing the next morning with Mass at 6.30, it was split into three parts, each focussing on a different aspect of St Therese’s spirituality.

it was amazin playing wobble , and other games which it would last forever even though the walks were long!! Don was a fab leader and cant wait to come up again!!!

Thanks so much for an exciting week! I really enjoyed the together-ness of the whole experience. Thanks to all the team; Conor, Matt, Don (GO CUSHION DOORS!), Joe, Steph, Sonoia (sorry if I spelled that wrong!), and, of course, Hannah! And all the dinner ladies, cleaners, caretakers etc have done a great job. The food was delicous and the rooms were great! Hope to come again in yr 11!! Byeeeeeee ABBY X

A big thanks to all the team and staff at the Briars for such a fantastic week. Our Year 9 pupils were fab and it was great to get to know them over the week and watch them having so much fun. And last, but not least a big thanks to the St Bens staff, for the laughs, singing, the laughs, song writing, the laughs … and for making me look good at bowling once again!!!

Thank you so much guys for a brilliant week, had so much fun and cant wait to come again. The walks where so much fun with the pony game and squit. I made some new mates, too. The meals where fab and being in the groups was realy good to get to know people. Thanks Guys xx.

This week was AMAZING thank you soo much for such a good time, although when we were there the time went so slowly i’m so upset because the week went so quickly. I met some new people just by the rooms/corridors! Thank you so much to everyone who made this week so good/possible it was great to get away from the pressures of school i can’t wait to come again!

briar’s was AMAZING!! Thank you so much to everyone who made it possible and such a fun experience and i didn’t wanna come home
It’s funny cos that week went so slowbut on friday it seemed to have gone dead quick. thanks to all the briars staff for putting up with us 
congrats briars stafff for putting up with us 
Can’t pick a favourite moment it was all SO good. But i think mr rounds dancing came close
