Sheffield Youth Orchestra and St Mary’s and Holy Family Confirmation Group

Firstly, a big shout out the SYO. You were sooooo good, and your concerts are going to go down a storm! You were all so friendly, so thanks so much for always being up for a chat!

And although I didn’t have a small group, I still felt like I chatted to most of you from the confirmation group, so I have to thank you guys for that, because you were just so lovely and willing to talk! I loved going on the walk on Saturday, because I don’t think I heard any of you complain once!

Well done on mass guys, your singing was truly spectacular! There was so few of you, but the singing really was so loud, I was well impressed!

Becket Year 10

This has been an amazing week! It’s always great when your own school come up and you guys didn’t disappoint one bit! A big shout out to my small group. You guys worked dead hard, especially on all the roleplays and I thought your superhero roleplay was genuinely amazing…I mean we had someone flying past the window! I especially loved the peanut session because it was really thought provoking and I thought you all entered into it really well!

Another highlight of the week for me was the picnic we had on Thursday! It was so nice having a chat with you all and I enjoyed it a lot! I also thought reconciliation was particularly good. All of the stations that you did were really powerful and I enjoyed it a lot!

So anyway, I hope you all enjoyed the week as much as I did.

Trinity Year 9

This has been a really jam packed weekend, and you all got straight in with everything. The team challenges on the first night were so much fun. Hello to mine and Liam’s small group, ‘4 boys 6 girls and a purple dinosaur’ You were such a laugh and all worked really hard, so well done to you. Your morning prayer was dead good and I also think that the asking prayers yoo wrote for mass were a really high standard, so well done to you!

St John Houghton Year 9

This has been a truly amazing week! I have loved every second of it and I hope you all enjoyed it just as much as I did! You were so friendly and easy to chat to.  A big shout out to my small ‘Bob’s your Uncle, Nigel’s your brother.’ You guys were amazing and every single one of you joined in with everything, so thanks for that! Our mascot for our small group was awesome, and well done for winning the horse race!!

Reconciliation was amazing! Every single groups presentation was so powerful, and I really really enjoyed it so well done to you guys. The walk as well was great and I loved being able to chat to you all.

So thanks for a really memorable week, I loved it all, so thank you!

This seemed to be a particularly jam packed weekend and we really seem to have squeezed a lot in! Hello to ‘Gary’ (said in that very weird voice that you used!) You guys were a right giggle and I loved getting to know you. I especially loved our TV advert for knowledge power…it was sooo funny and I loved all the songs in it! Meal times were always good fun because you were just so friendly and easy to talk to, so thanks for all the chats!

The second half of the week, and you guys sure had a tough act to follow, but you didn’t disappoint and I enjoyed the second half just as much as the first! A big shout out to my small group, you guys were so fun to be around and just had so much energy, so thanks! The artwork you made on Thursday was awesome and to be honest, I thought all the groups artwork were fab! I enjoyed the walk again, as it was such a gorgeous day!

I really loved these couple of days that we spent together…they were awesome and you were just so polite and friendly, and I found it really easy to talk to you all! A big hello to my small group, you were such a laugh to have around! I thought it was great how well you shared in the board game, but most of all I loved our song to advertise how much we loved I-pods! The walk was really nice to and I loved having some time to get to chat to more of you!

I genuinely loved these couple of days that you were up here! You were so enthusiastic and just got involved in everything that we did! You were small in number, but that did not effect the amount of energy you guys had! My small group did amazing in every single task that you were set…the friend you built was awesome! Well done on saving our crisp ‘Chrissy’, your idea for that was fantastic, and the chant that went along side it was equally good, well done guys! Also, I thought mass was really special, you all joined together and made it dead good!

Anyway guys, I hope you enjoy the rest of year 6 and that secondary school goes well for you!

You were such a lively bunch and really filled the Briars with your amazing energy! I loved getting to know you guys and you tried so hard at everything we did. My small group was dead good and I loved how well you all worked together; there really was never a dull moment with you guys! I have to mention the amazing canvas’ that you made in the workshops…they are now hanging beautifully in their prospective places! Well done to my small group too for their work on the introduction to mass, I thought it was very good! Though the whole of mass was pretty spectacular to be honest!

This has been such a relaxed and chilled out weekend, and it has been thoroughly enjoyable! You were all just so friendly and easy to chat to and it was great to see some familiar faces, as well as meeting many other lovely people!

A big hello to my small group ‘Squirt the Yellow chicken with Cillet Bang whilst eating tadpoles.’ You worked really hard in everything that we had to do and I thought you did especially well on our morning prayer which was dead good. I was so impressed with how you just came up with it all yourselves so well done!

Mass on Saturday was awesome, all the roleplays were really funny!
