Our last retreat of the year and you guys certainly made it one to remember! Although I was floating, it was so good to see the results of your activities, especially with the role-plays in mass! You were all so well behaved and friendly and that made mealtimes a time I really looked forward to so nice one!

This weekend was big time! I absolutely loved every minute of it! The amount of laughs was unreal, and I had nearly lost my voice by the end of it! Big shout out to mine and Steph’s small group, you guys were awesome and we laughed so much, especially on the first night with ‘it’s the nativity, relay.’ It was good to see you guys understanding different, lesser known parts of the nativity in a really constructive and funny way!

Saturday started really well, exploring the thoughts and feelings of the characters involved in the nativity, and some of us even saw a new side to King Herod!  You guys really threw yourself into every single activity, and made every single one so much fun! You were all so easy to talk to in small groups and at mealtimes, I absolutely loved getting to know you all, especially over the amazing Christmas dinner at the end of the week to top everything off!

Overall, an absolutely amazing weekend, so thanks!

Mint few days! I loved how you guys threw yourself into every activity especially from the off, with the wrap a present task, which was genius! I loved how ours was Gold, and looked a little like a knight, and it so should have won on presentation!

It was so good to see you guys perform in the talent show, and I was really taken aback by the amount of amazing singers in the group that came!

Hey guys,

What a good few days we spent together! I think my favourite activity was definitely building the story on the first night and it was really good to see the fruits of your labour being used so beautifully in night prayer so big up for that! The walk was also well fun, and I didn’t hear too much moaning which was so good to see!

Overall, a really fun few days, and I hope that  you learnt as much  as I did!

Well guys, you may have been small in number but you filled the centre with so much positivity and fun that it felt like there was a lot more of you! This was a really fun weekend, and I was a bit gutted I didn’t have a small group! But from what I saw you guys did amazing in all the activities and I especially enjoyed the crystal maze, (bar the teachers cheating!) I also really loved all the morning prayers and the role-plays in them were hilarious!

It was nice to see some of you at Advent!

Easy ladies and gentlemen!

What a jam packed week this was! I thought you guys did really well to fight the arctic conditions in sub zero temperatures during Focus Activities and did really well to achieve the goals of the day, and by the end of it was amazing to see you guys working as a big team with the circle of faith. Big up to my small group; ‘Team Batman!’, you guys were awesome! The first night was really fun, making famous buildings from around the world, and my group utilizing a person to build the leaning tower of Pisa was amazing, and just exemplified how much you were willing to get stuck in and have fun!

Affirmations were really powerful, and you guys were so good at just being nice to each other which was good to see! The walk was well fun, and you guys fought on again through the cold once again, hard as nails! Reconciliation was also done incredibly well and some of the ideas you guys came up with I had never seen before so well done!

Overall, it was an amazing week, and I hope to see you all again soon!

Well what a fun weekend this was! I really loved having you guys around the centre because you were all so friendly and nice whenever I saw you! Mealtimes and social time were a real highlight as the conversation flowed incredibly well! Overall, it was a great weekend to have you guys around and how you took an interest in our work whilst you were here.

Well what an awesome week this has been! A massive shout out to my group; “Steve the chicken forgot his wellies whilst watching MJ on the tele and is now KFC..OH MY GOSH.” Or something along those lines, because I couldn’t remember it all! Absolutely mega week though and I loved every minute of it, from the walk, reconciliation and mass to celebrate and top it all off!  I had so much fun chilling out with you guys both in sharing sheet, mealtimes and social time, you were all so easy to chat to! The sharing sheet session was really powerful and I was really proud of how you all shared with each other on the big sheet at the end, so big up for that!

Wow, this was an awesome weekend, it was so much fun and it was great to see so many familiar faces. A big shout out to Avalanche Kapow, what a goup name and what a group, you were great and our play on the first night was hilarious. All the plays were so funny. i really enjoyed the walk even though I was a donkey. Mass was excellent and all the role plays and prayer were amazing and mass was a great celebration.

This was a great couple of days and I really enjoyed all the work we did on learning the real message of christmas. The wrapping up on the first night was great. It was great to have my school come up and you all made me proud to say I came from St Mary’s
