Well its not long into the new year and reach4 are finally back at what feels like a second home. Today we were at St. Mary’s in Grimsby to talk about the exciting trip up to Scotland, which a lot of people reminded us that it is only 3 weeks on Monday. But we also did some work with the year 10′s as well, because Scotland is the official hand over point for the Chaplaincy teams, so we worked on how to lead prayer and games and we were inspired!

A sad moment was when the bell went for our last session with the year 11′s, it is really awe inspiring to see a group work together so well and have such an influence on a  whole school. Scotland is going to be amazing, not even we can wait!

On Friday we got to work at Holy Trinity Newark, and worked with the year6s. We did so much with you guys! We had the theme which was all about journeys. We first thought about what kind of things we would pack on a journey and 5things we would take with us on a journey, which can be quite hard to decide between.

Then we thought about the things that sometimes hold us back, but we left those on the shore and put them behind us! Then we made some boats and thought about people who mean the most to us and we put them in water and made them float! It was brilliant! After lunch we made a liturgical dance up as a whole class which you all did really well! Hope you all had lots of fun we loved it!

On wednesday and thursday we had a meeting with the catechists and parents to discuss the confirmation programme that were doing with you! We cant wait for it, it sounds really good so we hope that your going to enjoy it!

On Monday we worked with St Patricks Youth Fellowship and it was a great to see lots of people who we had already seen this year! We watched some good old indiana jones and did some tasks that you had to work at its all about the theme of you gotta have faith and be proud of your faith! It was tasks from trust wave to bamboo stick to the electic maze! You guys propper went for it and you were really enthuisastic! Hope you all enjoyed it! And keep on being proud of your faith!

Tonight we got to venture back out to Mansfield to see the St. Patrick’s youth group, some we’d met last year some even the year before and then on top of that some more new people, it was a good night with loads of fun, a great film and some difficult games, but we really got down to thinking how challenging it is to have faith but how much fun and rewarding it can be as well.
